The Joint Programming Platform ERA-Net Smart Energy Systems (JPP SES) organized an ICT Workshop to build bridges in the entire innovation chain by involving partners from the ICT domain, business development and governmental institutions, start-ups and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as well as additional financers and funders.
During the online meeting, the funded projects, among others RELflex, presented their innovative concepts and approaches. The project’s needs, developed solutions, used interfaces and types of provision were described in the field of business applications, high level services, (energy-) domain specific enablers, usage area independent (generic) enablers, supported physical entities and supporting software.
Following, the invited ICT solution providers gave pitches on their technologies and offered products. They were presenting software platforms, architectures, interfaces and smart energy features and services integrated in the industrial applications. The potential of sharing knowledge and ready to use solutions for the initiative and the RDD projects were discussed.
The details of possible cooperation models and potential contributions of ICT providers to existing and future projects were discussed in the matchmaking session.
Finally, the interactive sessions moderated by JPP SES experts took place to create a comprehensive LEGO model of all presented ICT eco-systems.
