Under the motto “Otto is innovation”, the city marketing association “Pro Magdeburg” is launching new campaign that presents series of innovations, projects and personalities that make Magdeburg known in many areas as a location for business, science, culture and society.
Several outstanding developments, exciting company stories, unexpected achievements and inspiring examples that prove that innovations are at home in Magdeburg are presented. Among them the RELflex project has been represented by Dr. Pio Lombardi (Fraunhofer IFF) with the statement from research and innovation perspective and by Mr. Timo Heße (CEO aRTE Möbel) from an industrial point of view.
This year’s heads of the campaign are concerned with climate and resource conservation, with new strategies and innovative solutions that Magdeburg needs in order to secure its attractiveness as a business location in the long term.
RELflex demonstrates how to explore sustainable industrial processes for the benefit of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and in the future for the power grid. Renewable energies lead to fluctuations in the power energy system. RELflex solutions help to make production in factories more flexible in order to keep the network stable.
